Well, Hearthstone takes these concepts and makes them (even) more accessible with streamlined rules and controls. While it is primarily a multiplayer game, it is also fun to play alone thanks to its full campaign and excellent tutorial. Top 3 alternatives to hearthstone for mac.

For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans. For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic) Thanks to for the logo! After SOMEONE (who will go unnamed, Kyrite) decided to reveal our treason to the head of state after we perfectly lied to the inquisition to cover our arses, we were apprehensive to leave the political life behind. As it was far too expensive for us to get ourselves a moving fortress a la Howl's Moving Castle, we compromised and created a ship. Here's the map I created for said ship in case someone needs to use it. I have attached clarification legends to the map as well for, well, clarity. First of all, thank you for the compliments.

It's always highly appreciated. As for the difference in size, the original ship design was actually somewhat different. I pulled a design for an age of sail ship off the internet and traced the outline. The ship actually started off as a lot sleeker with the lower decks possessing not only a shorter deck but also a sharper pike where the hull curves to meet the keel but then was hollowed out in order to fit more squares. A bit of a long story actually, but for the tl;dr version I basically tried to maximize the crawlspace inside of our ship whilst still keeping with the limitations our GM gave us. Ships do bow out for shallow keel (i.e.

River) boats and heavy cargo ships, but as our ship was explicitly a raiding martial ship which tends to favor a sleeker bow. The initial design I drew up did have a gradually sloping deck like seen in this ship: After I submitted the four decked ballista spiked monstrosity with an ABBCC-XXYYZZ turret plan for GM review she instantly rejected it and ordered me to make a ship that had a cargo deck with a maximum length of 100 ft. And a width of 35 ft. She then gave some design limitations. Firstly, beds are 5 ft wide and 10 ft long and, more to the point, expensive.

We stole the boat in game, but retrofitting everything needed to be done out of our own pockets so to speak. Secondly, we needed enough space for the crew to sleep and we had quite a crew numbering at 25. I therefore pushed for the ship to be widened out as far as I reasonably could to maximize the size of our base whilst staying within the constrains of the ship.

The crew's quarters actually reached right to the officer's quarters in the initial design before the DM decided to inform us that only 1/3 of the crew needed to be able to sleep at once as the rest would be off in their shifts which contributes for the massive empty space on deck number 2. The ship design I came out with would have a bulbous bow which no ship of the era had and not just because bulbous bows as seen on ships like the Yamato is fundamentally impossible for the material renaissance era warships could be built from. I should probably count myself lucky that my GM is a chemical engineer and not a mechanical or naval engineer and so she didn't seem to notice and let me get away with it:P.

Or maybe she just thought that I, considering my major, was too inept to understand the fundamentals behind ship design and didn't realize that the design I came out with was mechanically nonsensical. Either way, it gave me more ship to play with so I don't mind. This is actually the reason why there is this odd design you see right now. Configuring wpa2 for mac os. So yes, the off proportions wasn't actually an artistic license matter as much as something that I did in order to get more space in our ship so we can stuff in more pirate gold and overpriced furniture.
